The chefs grew up in Duluth, gardening, and eating handmade food. The menu items have been created from their childhood experiences, combined with 25 years of culinary experience.
While raising twins in Duluth, the chefs at Toasty's realized that they didn't have a lot of options for real food. The desire for good-tasting, convenient, and healthy options for families led to the birth of Toasty's Grilled Cheese Shop.

Toasty’s brings you locally made fresh breads, local fresh produce, and Farm raised
meats, organic whenever possible, and We like to add in a few guilty pleasures as well.
We encourage our guests to suggest variations to their sandwiches.
Add your favorite fresh herbs and produce. If you are a meat lover add extra meat!
